Due to excessive rainfall upick green bean field is closed 5-2-14

Too much rain, our clay doesn't drain that fast field is very wet and slippery plus since we use no chemicals on our beans, bean plants must be dry to get in field so for now upick is now closed, hopefully by Sunday it will be better but depends on how much more rain we get.  I will send a post out when its ok. Even in this weather Rolo is at the Chevron station at Spring Hill Drive and Linden, go early he may have to leave early if weather gets bad.  I have not heard anything about cancelling the Farmers Market on Hwy 19 for Saturday and yes we will have our $10.00 Produce box this Sun Mon and Tuesday and I will send out a post Sunday morning of contents.Thank you for supporting your local farmers.
